Lucinda Bevan

Lucinda BevanLucinda trained at 'The Institute for Optimum Nutrition' and has run a successful practise for many years. She naturally progressed into the field of Nutrition having been involved in the food industry for most of her working life. The combination of an understanding and passion for food along with health problems lead her to train as a Nutritional Therapist.

Nutritional Therapy is a natural, drug free approach that encourages the body to heal itself. Drastic changes to the diet is not always advisable or indeed feasible, changes will be made achievable within your own personal life and cooking abilities. Nutritional Therapy works very effectively alongside conventional medicine as well as complementary medicine.

Lucinda's area of interest is mental health. If you are feeling low depressed, anxious or stressed, suffering from panic attacks, poor memory or concentration then Nutritional Therapy can be of real benefit. Research shows that moods and brain function can be affected by biochemical and physiological imbalances, we can run tests that help to pin-point the causes of some health issues, this can help to start the appropriate protocol thereby speeding up recovery.

Due to changes in food cultivation and manufacture we find that even the optimal diet does not provide the essential nutrients today, therefore supplements are sometimes recommended to help support our systems.

Lucinda can also provide recipes and handouts, tailor made menu planning and runs cookery workshops.
