 I currently work within the NHS, counselling patients in GP surgeries, facilitating psycho educational groups in subjects such as Stress, Bereavement, Self Esteem etc, I also supervise IAPT trainees.
I have a special interest in the humanistic therapies that look at the way our bodies and emotions interact, sometimes causing us to have physical symptoms.
Some of the issues that I work with are, Trauma, Abuse, PTSD, Depression and Anxiety, Stress and Self Esteem, Work Related Issues.
I have completed the taught part of a Masters degree in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in London and I hold the following qualifications:-

Transactional Analysis 101 Certificate
Certificate in Counselling
Certificate in Basic Counselling Skills
Completed Cruse Bereavement training in 2002
