Bernadette Dowling, a Medical Herbalist who qualified from Westminster University on the BSc(hons) degree course, is now practicing from the the Wellbeing clinic.
Bernadette is married and a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 2 children. Her hobbies include riding, sailing and walking.
Her career in the caring professions started in the NHS where she qualified as a General Nurse, a Renal Transplant Nurse and an Occupational Health Nurse. Bernadette spent several years working in industry with multi-national companies before embarking on a new occupation, some 10 years ago, as an organic farmer which ultimately guided her to the path of Medical Herbalism, a natural combination of growing plants to heal.
Bernadette is passionate about the English herbal traditions of growing and making her clients medications to promote good health by recognising the spiritual match between plant and human. She works happily, in parallel with doctors and consultants in complex medical conditions.
She will be available exclusively to wellbeing clients on Tuesday afternoons, out of these hours we can arrange for consultations at her East Garston practice near Lambourn.
Charges are £45 for first consultations plus herbal prescription
Follow up charges are £30 plus herbal prescription
